A Message from Palestine

Another child in Gaza will lose their mother tomorrow.

I challenge the world to ensure they don't end up like me.

Dear Mom,

They talk a lot about a ceasefire now,

and I keep wondering: If the war ends, will we meet again?

19-year-old Mohammed Hirez from Gaza shares his message to the world with Political Pandora.

His twin brother, Helmi Hirez, in an interview with Al Jazeera, detailed their lives now, standing in long queues to secure one gallon of water, and staying up to guard their tents. Their mother was killed in Rafah, and they have lost 14 members of their family to Israeli attacks.

Mohammed Hirez and his brother are aspiring developers. Mohammed is an AI engineering student, who is interested in Artificial Intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, and much more.

All they now wish for is a safe place to live and normalcy.
